At MBC, looking after our international students is just as important as their education. From the moment you arrive, you join a close-knit community where staff, host families, and fellow students are committed to helping you settle in and thrive.
Whether it is dedicated pastoral care, a welcoming Kiwi homestay, or vibrant sports and cultural activities, every student feels safe, valued, and supported throughout their time with us.
Pastoral Care: You Are Never Alone
Moving to a new country is a big step, but at MBC, you are fully supported. Our International Team includes a dedicated Director, Administrator, Homestay Coordinator, and academic dean who monitor every student's wellbeing and progress. We have an "open door" policy whether you need help with a subject or just someone to talk to, we are here for you.
Homestay: Your Kiwi Family
Most of our international students live with carefully selected local host families. This is a highlight of the experience, offering a chance to immerse yourself in New Zealand culture and practice English daily. Our families provide a warm, safe home environment including:
- A private furnished bedroom.
- Three meals a day.
- Integration into family life and outings.

Sports, Arts & Culture
At MBC, life outside the classroom is just as important as life inside it.
